My ‘why’ is to create workplaces in which everyone feels seen, heard and valued, so that they can thrive, make their unique contribution and deliver peak performance in a sustainable way. My work as a facilitator with byrne·dean, helping to create kinder, fairer and more productive workplaces, is very much aligned to this.
I joined byrne·dean’s facilitation team in 2010, as a jaded, but hopeful, Employment Lawyer; extremely inspired by the work being done to transform workplaces and excited to connect with such brilliant and visionary colleagues. I continue to be inspired by them every day.
My focus is on designing and facilitating training to provoke reflection, raise awareness, generate discussion, and catalyse new ways of thinking, behaving, managing and leading people. I enjoy working at all levels from executive teams to summer interns, both 1:1, in small groups and in large auditoriums. I have delivered training face-to-face and virtually across the UK, USA, Africa and Asia, in a range of sectors including financial services, law, technology and media. Participants have described my sessions as “eye-opening and enlightening”, “thought provoking” and “incredibly informative and engaging”.
